I lost my cousins earring

I'm staying with her for a few months, and I borrowed her pearl earrings to wear to a job interview.

I'm not sure when, or where it happened, but I lost one of the earrings! I suppose I will have to tell her. I'm not looking forward to it since I didn't ask to borrow them.
